StrikeLock Hoistway Door Locking Device Recall
The elevator’s StrikeLock hoistway door locking device can allow the elevator cab to move with a landing door open, posing a risk of serious injury or death due to fall and injury hazards.
Door Gap Recall
Young children can become entrapped in the space between the exterior landing (hoistway) door and the interior elevator car door or gate if there is a hazardous gap and suffer serious injuries or death when the elevator is called to another floor.
Impact Hazard Recall
The elevator cab can rise unexpectedly to the top of the elevator shaft and abruptly stop, posing an impact hazard to any occupants in the elevator cab.
